Frugal Activities Inspired by Nature
nature inspired activities

Last week’s Family Frugal linky was full of brilliant activities inspired by what nature has provided and inspired for us.

Go out into nature and collect its treasures to make some Earth Art from Hands on:as we grow

Dance away those rainy day blues with these Musical Games from Peakle Pie

Inspired by the sky Painting clouds using shaving foam from A Little Pinch of Perfect

Create your own flowers using coffee filters from P is for Preschooler

Toddler taste safe cloud dough from My Bored Toddler

Sunflower Height Recorders from Crafty Kids at Home

This week we have been busy out in our garden tending to our growing vegetables. We have added a few more sticks of rhubarb to our bag in the freezer (we nearly have enough for a crumble now!) and our potato plants seem to be getting bigger every time I look at them. We have also harvested our first radishes. It’s so satisfying eating your own home grown food, it is not only cheaper than buying it, but also much tastier as well.

We have also been busy testing out some more dairy free recipes for Freddie and we made some delicious dairy free chocolate chip cookies. I would love to see more ideas for dairy free food linked up today. It really is making a difference, he is sleeping much easier, which is having a huge impact on his moods
