Puffy Paint Ice Cream Collages.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n This week we\u2019ve been getting stuck into some ice-cream inspired arts and crafts activities\u00a0 <\/a>in celebration of the many we\u2019ve been eating due to the (mostly!) lovely sunny weather we\u2019ve been enjoying.<\/p>\n First on our list was to create some puffy paint ice-cream pictures. Puffy paint is something I keep reading about but it\u2019s not something we\u2019d tackled before. But it sounded perfect for whipping up some ice-cream pictures with.<\/p>\n For even more cool ice cream ideas then check out our 10 Delicious ice cream activities for kids<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n We added a few drizzles of green paint to my 6 year olds sons \u201cmint ice-cream\u201d and a few drizzles of green paint and a dash cocoa powder to my 4 year olds \u201cmint-chocolate ice-cream\u201d. This smelt better than it looked but he was delighted with it. My daughter mixed up I cut out \u201cice-cream cones\u201d out of scraps of cardboard. We then glued them onto paper and drew the outlines of our ice-creams with pencil ready to be filled with the puffy paint.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The kids had a great time using brushes to load up their ice-creams, they certainly didn\u2019t hold back when it came to the toppings either. \nher favourite pink paint into her mixture with a little help to create her favourite \u201cStrawberry ice-cream\u201d. I let my two sons loose on the shaving foam can and they thought it was hilarious when it came squirting out!<\/p>\n
