Welcome back to Evelyne from Nemcsok Farms who is sharing a tasty recipe series over at Crafty Kids at Home. We have already enjoy Grilled Pork Chops with Apple Butter.

Gone Fishin’

If you have any avid fishermen and fisherwomen in your home, or are one yourself, you already know that there is nothing better in the world, than pan fried fish, and revelling in the awesomeness that is the catch of the day. Sometimes however it is nice to switch to it up a bit, and instead of the salty goodness of pan fried fish, try this rich cheesy baked fish, with a crumb topping of your choice.

Parmasan Baked Fish Fillets and Fishy Crackers

This works well on everything from salmon to halibut to haddock. I can’t imagine it not working on any variety of fish actually. Why not give it a whirl on your catch of the day! For the crumb topping, use your favourite crackers. I have used regular cheddar Ritz crackers, all flavours of goldfish crackers, cheese nips and roasted red pepper Vista crackers. All of them were really good, and I’d have to say my favourite so far is the Goldfish crackers. Try your favourites! As for the rich sauce, it’s really very easy. See the recipe below.
