You know what\u2019s better than ribs? Ribs that smell like dessert, and taste like candy! This is by far our favourite ribs recipe, and it will be at your house too!<\/p>\n

We are mixing things up \u00a0over here at Crafty Kids at Home this month, sharing a tasty recipe series from the fantastic Evelyne from Nemcsok Farms.<\/a>\u00a0We have already enjoyed some Grilled Pork Chops with Apple Butter,<\/a>\u00a0Parmesan Fish Fillets<\/a> and an Apple Pecan Salad<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n Yes indeed vanilla! And definitely yes on your ribs! And while my sanity is often questioned, I can tell you with certain that this is quite tasty, and you and your entire family will. Love. It.<\/p>\n So that\u2019s not completely true. I have often listened to people ooh and ahh collectively over ribs and their favourite ribs, and bourbon basted ribs, and ribs on the barbecue with their favourite sauce, and well, none of those ever really wowed me. I have always been more of a steak person. Ribs were okay, but nothing to write home about, as it were.<\/p>\n But surely for all of the fanfare that ribs receive, I must have been missing out on something. I decided to try my own hand at ribs and this is the result. And I must say, it is fabulous.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Done slowly in the oven, and basting regularly with the vanilla sauce, are the key parts to making this the best rib recipe you will ever try.<\/p>\n Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Use a roast pan with the channels in the bottom to prevent sticking, or use a roast pan with a rack inside<\/p>\n 2. Place the ribs bone side down in the roast pan<\/p>\n 3. Mix the remaining ingredients and use a pastry or barbecue brush to cover the ribs<\/p>\n 4. Place in the oven<\/p>\n 5. Turn the oven the 350 F, and baste regularly with the remaining sauce, for 1 hr and 15 -30 minutes<\/p>\n 6. Turn the ribs over once during cooking, and remember to baste them with that sauce<\/p>\n 7. Remove from oven when done, and separate into serving sizes<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The smell is irresistible, no?<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" You know what\u2019s better than ribs?
