We are busy preparing for<a href=\"https:\/\/craftykidsathome.com\/st-patricks-day-activities-kids\/\"> St Patrick&#8217;s Day <\/a>this month and have been busy making lots of <a href=\"https:\/\/craftykidsathome.com\/bubble-wrap-shamrock-man\/\">different decorations <\/a>to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hellowonderful.co\/post\/ST--PATRICK----S-DAY-SHAMROCK-PROCESS-ART-WITH-KIDS\" target=\"_blank\">hang up at home<\/a> and to wear at school. The kids school dedicates a whole week to St Patrick. It makes them feel like &#8220;proper artists&#8221; when they work on them. They are also really good for doing &#8220;Bleeding Tissue Art&#8221; on due to there thickness.<\/p>\n<p>To create the background for their collages, the kids brushed water all over their canvas board and then &#8220;stuck&#8221; down the green and orange squares or tissue paper.<\/p>\n<p>Leave it to dry and then peel the tissue paper off to reveal the colour left behind underneath. <em>If you have a utility room then this is a great place to speed up the drying process if you have your appliances running.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7490\" src=\"https:\/\/craftykidsathome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/St-Patricks-Day-Collage-3.jpg\" alt=\"Decorating a St Patrick's Day art project\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/craftykidsathome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/St-Patricks-Day-Collage-3.jpg 600w, https:\/\/craftykidsathome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/St-Patricks-Day-Collage-3-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then comes the really fun part.
