Finding out that one of you children is cow\u2019s milk intolerant is very daunting in the beginning. Dairy products make up a big chunk of our families daily diet, so we have had to do a lot of research into the alternatives on offer. Finding alternatives for milk, butter and cheese hasn\u2019t been too hard, but treats have proved more troublesome.<\/p>\n
He is only 5 years old and we don\u2019t want him to feel left out when his siblings are eating things like cake, ice cream and chocolate. So after a bit of research online and a good chat with the helpful ladies in our local health food shop, we discovered that there is a whole new
\nworld of dairy free treats for us to try.<\/p>\n
Chocolate and cakes and big favourites in our house, so when we heard about dairy free Moo Free Choccies<\/a> we were excited to try them out. I emailed the company direct to ask them about their products and they very kindly sent Freddie a few bars to try out. He gobbled up the \u201cBunny Comb Bar\u201d and said it was just as yummy as \u201creal\u201d chocolate.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \n<\/div>\n Trust me they won’t be around for long!<\/p>\n Going dairy free no longer means that you have to compromise on taste or the variety of foods you can eat.<\/p>\n Dining out could prove to be more tricky for us, but the places we have been so far have been fairly accomodating.<\/p>\n I’d love to hear about your own experiences of a dairy free diet and what your favourite recipes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n Finding out that one of you children is cow\u2019s milk intolerant is very daunting in the beginning.
