You can never have too many ideas to keep the kids busy on a rainy (or very hot day) stuck indoors and last weeks Frugal Family Linky was full of activities to have on standby.

We have had our fair share of rainy days over here of late and I have been getting back to basics with Bella in the morning when the boys have been in school. We have enjoyed simple set up water play activities (scooping and pouring, pretend tea parties), played with a cheap bag of pasta (threading it, making shapes with it, creating pictures with it) and we cleared out our making supplies and just went crazy with the glitter and glue.<\/p>\n

What are your favourite frugal rainy day activities? Why not link them up below?<\/p>\n
