30 Indoor Activities for Kids

We’ve been enjoying a lot of indoor activities this week. It’s

been a wet and dreary start to the New Year over here and I have been busy

potty training Little Miss B (so far so good), so we have not wanted to venture

out too far. It’s also been very cold outside, so even the boys haven’t minded

being kept indoors too much. I think they are secretly looking forward to

getting back to school tomorrow though and quite frankly so am I. We’ll be on

the school run complete with rain jackets, hats and gloves and

a potty for a week or so! We might be minus a school tie though, as I have still not located

Liam’s, thankfully its PE tomorrow, so I have a bit of breathing space before

dashing off to buy a new one.

We’ve been keeping oursleves busy indoors this week with a vareity of different activities including lots of imaginative play scenarios. The kids love to play shops and cafes and with the introduction of a new till and some felt food courtesy of Santa, they have been in their element with these types of games this week. Bella is able to join in much more with her brothers now as well during and it’s lovely to watch them all playing together (well until they start to fight over the same thing that is!). We’ve also spent a good bit of time colouring and drawing and filling in their Christmas sticker books. I don’t think my boys will ever tire of sticker books they love them and Bella is getting into them now as well. We’ve also been going through lots of photographs from last year to go into our “2014 Family Scrapbook”. It may seem old fashioned now, but I love to print out our photographs and flick back through them with the kids.
