We tackled another alphabet craft this weekend to help
reinforce the letter which my Junior Infant son has been learning at
school. Last week he was working on I,
so he decided that he wanted us to create some igloo’s to put up on his bedroom
letter gallery. We love to use bubble-wrap to paint and print with and I
thought that this would work really well to create an igloo. We decided to add
in some cotton wool ice-bergs as well for good measure.

Here’s what we did:
- Added
a dash of water to a squidge of blue paint and brushed this over a large
piece of thin white card and left it to dry. - Cut
out a large oval shape from a piece of bubble-wrap. - Painted
over the bubbly side of the bubble-wrap with white paint. - Stamped
this down onto our blue background. - Lifted
off the bubble-wrap to reveal our igloo. Be careful not to smudge the
bubble-wrap or the effect won’t be as good. - Glued
on cotton wool balls to create an iceberg.
The other letters which we have worked on already include S is for Spider and T is for Tree

So beautiful craft! Totally love it! Thank you for sharing with us #pintorials
Thanks so much. It's very simple but came out really well.
I love this, I really need to work on my sons letter recognition (slightly panicking about him starting school) so this is a fab idea. Have pinned x
Thanks! Don't panic! I spent ages with no.1 learning his letters before school but i ve been much more relaxed with no.2 and we are doing more now he is at school and he is learning just as well as his big brother did.
So brilliant! Thank you so much for sharing with the pin it party. Have pinned 🙂
