A quick and easy kids DIY for St Patrick’s Day for those last minute cards that you still need to send.
St Patrick’s Day has crept up on us much more quickly than I would have liked this year, so all of our activities for it have been a bit last minute. But sometimes it’s good to just get back to basics and enjoy some simple crafts together after school. We love to send a few St Patrick’s Day cards to close relatives, so we set to work on some simple Shamrock Collages for this years efforts.

Supplies
- Shamrock Cookie Cutter
- White Card
- Glitter
- Glue
- Green Buttons
- Shiny Shamrock decorations or stickers.
We folded a sheet of thin white card in half and then used a Shamrock cookie cutter to trace the outline of a Shamrock onto the front of each of our St Patrick’s Day cards.
Next came the fun part. I laid out all of the shamrock confetti, stickers, glitter and green buttons that I could find in our supplies. The kids then dived in and loaded as many items as they could onto their cards. Well you can never have too much glitter can you? Well maybe…
Happy St Patrick’s Day!
